Dunajec River Rafting

The Dunajec River Gorge is surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes that can be found in Poland and in the world. Rafting on traditional wooden rafts operated by experienced rafters and at the same time tour guides, dressed in traditional regional costumes is an unforgettable experience and a hugely popular attraction for tourists from all over the world. During rafting on this winding mountain river participants have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking scenery, limestone rocky slopes and picturesque flora and fauna of the old Pieniny National Park untouched by modern civilization. Among the many attractions at this approximately 20 kilometers long rafting route are very well preserved Niedzica castle situated on a rock at the height of over 500 meters above sea level, the Dam in Nidzica with Czorsztyn lake, Czorsztyn medieval stronghold, antique, gothic wooden church from the fifteenth century in Debno Podhalańskie (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the city Szczawnica with its natural mineral water springs known for its health claims effects. Rafting is organized from April to October.
Our English-speaking driver will pick you up from an arranged location and drive you, in comfortable and air-conditioned transportation to the start of the rafting from marina in Szczawnica. He will also take care of all the necessary tickets/fares and organizational details of the trip. The rafting takes about 2,5 to 3 hours. Afterwards we will comfortably and safely bring you back to your accommodation or other agreed location.
